Raymond Emmet "Ray" Dandridge (August 31, 1913 - February 12, 1994) spent his entire playing career in the Negro League, Mexican League, American Association, and Pacific Coast League between 1933 and 1953. Dandridge is widely regarded as one of the game's greatest hitters and fielders. A three-time East-West All-Star Game player (1935, 1937, 1944), baseball historians point to Dandridge's lifetime. 355 batting average - which included batting.
